Level 2 Retailer

At Co-op, we have an important role to play in local communities. As a customer team member apprentice, you’ll learn to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers and provide them with the best possible service– getting to know their needs inside and out.

Level 3 Business Administration

To maintain high service standards, fuel our growth and fulfil our social goals, we need people who have a strong commercial understanding – so that’s what we’ll give you. We’ll train you to be confident, organised and successful. If you have ambition, you’ll be perfect for this apprenticeship.

Level 2 and Level 3 Funeralcare

We’re a trusted part of the community. That means offering comfort to customers who need us to look after their loved ones after they’ve passed away. If you’re respectful, caring and want to do something important, this role could be the right one for you. It will enable you bring peace of mind to families and do something truly meaningful for your community.

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner

There are a wide range of apprenticeships available at Co-op. Some are service focused and others are more specialist (in areas like IT, digital, HR, communications and finance). We need people who are hard-working and adaptable to join our team. If you have values and motivations that match our own, a Co-op apprenticeship could be the right path for you.

Your decision

Applying for an apprenticeship You can apply for a job with us online. Unlike other jobs, we’re not looking at your experience and what you’ve done before, but that you match our values and motivations as a business and are keen to learn and develop.

Online assessment You just need to complete a basic Maths and English test allowing us to understand your functional skills at GCSE level or equivalent.

Phone call We’ll follow up on your application to make sure you’re still interested. On the call, we’ll give you some more information about what to expect during your interview.

Interview You’ll meet one of our managers and get more of a feel for the company. It will be a chance for you to show us your personality, demonstrate your hard-working attitude and share why you want to be a Co-op apprentice. You’ll get insight into what we look for before attending the interview but still make sure you do your research.

Your decision If you receive an offer you’ll be sent a contract electronically.. We’re here to answer all your questions and make the onboarding process as simple as possible.
